No.29 - Today I.....

want to congratulate Roger Federer, though knowing that he is not going to read this. He has just been crowned the new French Open champion. Ya, after 4 years of domination by Rafa, Federer finally ended the jinx. A very humble man, down-to-earth, full of sportsmanship and everything you can think of, he is Federer. This is the 2nd Grand Slam I watched Roger shedding tears. Just imagine a man crying, what more on international television. But I salute him for not hiding his emotions. Thats a true man. He teared when the Switzerland anthem was played. And during the match, a fan, a mad one I would say, ran into the court while Soderling was preparing to serve. He was running towards the direction of Roger. Roger just stood there, even after the guy came near him and covered his head with a red cloth. Being a role model, he didn't just pushed the guy away or being aggresive. He waited for the security to take actions. So sweet, right?

shedding tears after losing to Rafa at Aussie Open '09, a tournament he had conquered for quite sometime.

celebrating the final point, where Soderling hit the ball into the net. Roger fell on his knees, covered his face and got up with a teary face. One who have waited so long for something would understand his feelings.

landing a kiss on the trophy. Oh boy, I'm sure all of us know how long and how badly he had always wanted to do this. Finally he did it today.

ya, i know, i know. Most of you must be thinking this - "Weh, you're a Rafa fan or Roger ha? For awhile Rafa, now Roger?!?!"- Well, I felt this tribute is the least I could offer to Roger after all he has gone through. I respect him alot as a sports ambassador.

MY HATS OFF TO THE NEW FRENCH OPEN CHAMPION,

No.28 - Today I.....

finally figured out the song that I heard on radio lately. I always wanted to know the title of the song. The song goes something like - Monday... Tuesday.... - But after finding out today, it confirmed that I really have hearing problem. Well, cant actually blame me. Whenever I heard the song, it will be when Im bathing or far away from the radio, somehow there's disruptions. The Monday that I heard was One Way and the Tuesday was To Say. So what do you think about my hearing problem? Anyway, I find the song very cheeky and joyful. It's Plain White T's 1234. Yes, the song. Check it out, you'll like it, I'm sure.

~there's only one (1) way to (2) say three (3) words for (4) you, that is I Love You~

No.27 - Today I.....

took a giant step towards reaching one of my dreams. Yes, the above picture says it all. If you do read my blog, I posted before on this topic - Manchester United coming to Malaysia and how badly I wanna go. Today I ordered online and made payment, now just waiting for the confirmation email. Will call them up tomorrow to finalise it. I am taking the risk of wasting the money because I dont know where I will be on 18th July. So anyone interested and would want to standby incase by the time ticket run out and SOMEHOW I couldnt make it, I'll sell it. BUT, I'll do whatever it takes to just go watch it. I mean it. May it be no C.Ronaldo, I don't care. It is Manchester United. Go wherever you want, Ronaldo.

I will follow you...Man Utd!

No.26 - Today I.....

witnessed the losing of the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal in French Open 2009. Its the 1st time I watched a tennis match from the start till finish, at least 80% of it. Guess I shouldnt have watch, maybe Rafa would have won? Champion from '05 t0 '08, the King of Roland Garros has fallen from the throne. Robin Soderling was on form, though. His shots were accurate and powerful. He looked like he had more stamina than Nadal who doesnt seem that running-around-getting-all-shots-not-missing-one-kind today.

so who's up to be the new King of Clay? I would love to see R.Federer or F.Verdasco. Like their style of playing.

anyway, I played futsal!!! But its on the field. Haha! But still, I played! But I dint score. Made vital passes that led to goals. Im proud to say I CAN play. So many doubted me. Cish! No discrimination please! I played, playing and will still play football/futsal/soccer!
