19.07.2009 (sunday)

actual plan was to bake cake, but due to difficulties, ended up decided to buy a cake. so i went to king's with szewei to scout for cake and decided to get a choco cake. after buying it was only 9.45pm. so i came up with the idea of going straight to pn.lim's house to surprise her. we were afraid that she would have gone to bed. but we took the risk and off we go to her house. when we reached, we noticed the kitchen light was still on. so i came up with the idea of calling her and asked whether she's free or not. so szewei called and crapped about debate competition. she sounded convincing and pn.lim fell into the trap. we decided to her the truth. while she was opening the gate, i lighted the candle. so she was surprised. so mission accomplished. sat and chat until 11.30pm.

today afternoon went to convent, met up with tee-ni and tianwei. pn.lim decided all of us go for lunch together. the place : McD at Taiping Sentral. szewei joined us at McD. all of us had McValue lunch, thanks to pn.lim. this is a farewell lunch for tianwei who's leaving to UK in sept, tee-ni who's going back to Aus this fri and me who's leaving to kedah this august. after eating went tesco for a walk before all of us parted ways.

due to my clumsiness, a large cup of coke spilled. and tee-ni's 1st reaction was : don't worry, can refill! haha!
tianwei's burger, specially made for her because she's abnormal - doesn't eat cheese and mayonaise. and pn.lim actually believed when i told that tianwei doesnt eat chicken too! wow...someone trusted my words! something very new

MY FIRST TIME WATCHING FOOTBALL LIVE IN STADIUM
date : 18.07.2009 (saturday)
venue : stadium bukit jalil, kuala lumpur

took a 11am bus to kl. reached pudu 3plus, took lrt. the lrt was packed with red humans. ya, most of the passengers were ManUtd supporters. met with a family (mum, a daughter, 2sons) in lrt. so as soon as i reached stadium, i asked them can i tag along since im alone. the mum said ok. she was surprised i came all the way from taiping and all by myself. she said what a great fan i am. but we had to part ways because we got different entrance gate. they violet gate, i red gate. so i was walking all the way to red gate. got there, got into the queue then got checked by security guard. was asked to dispose all the bottles i had in bag! damn! stupid! but i was smart enough to hide one small bottle in my jacket. lucky for my brains, if not i would have die dehydrated.

so got in, looked for the seat. the rm58 part was packed, so i saw people climbing over railing to get seats. so i climbed too. after sitting awhile, i realised i was at a higher price seat - rm68. haha! was so scared that il be kicked out of the stadium if they find out. had quite a good seat, full view of the field, though players looked like termites.

was a good match. rooney opened the scoring, followed by nani. then right before half-time, amri yahya scored, a volley. the whole stadium roared! i got up from my seat too, so did all those nearby me! i think sir fergie decided to substitute van der sar after that shocking goal. yet, the replacement, ben foster did a blunder, allowing amri to score again. he sped past foster and tugged the ball into the goal. and again, all of us got up from our seats!! right after that, fergie brought owen in. the whole stadium had been waiting for his appearance. its indeed sweet as its owen's debut, whatmore in our country's stadium! owen impressed his manager and fergie did the right move when owen scored the winning goal! yeah! and again....yes, we got up from our seats! so thats the match.

got out from the stadium at 8pm, went to lrt station. tonnes of people! everyone pushing here and there! i felt like a sardine! could feel myself being squashed! reached pudu at 9.30pm, just in time to hop in the 9.30pm bus. lucky its not full. if not i had to wait for 10.30pm bus. reached home, washed up and headed for bed. got to get up before 8am the next day for church.

the crowd outside stadium

the stadium - packed with red humans!

team malaysia warming up
manutd team warming up
the crowds doing the mexican wave
the starting line-up for ManUtd on the scoreboard
the players lining up before the match
players shaking hands
captains of both teams with referees and linesmen
the scoreboard says it all - ManUtd won 3-2 with the man who scored the winning goal on the score board - Michael Owen
players and officials shaking hands after the match
players of ManUtd warming down after match before receiving medals, something that team malaysia didnt do
players of ManUtd waiting to go up stage to receive medals
ManUtd going round the field, acknowledging the crowd. disappointed they didnt throw their jerseys to me! so selfish of them!
the pitch after match
the queue in lrt station. not forgetting the aroma

and finally....... (a horrible picture to conclude this event, taken during halftime by a girl who sat behind me, whom i helped to take picture for earlier)

me signing off from the theater of dreams of malaysia, certainly. not the one at old trafford. i hope one day il be there!
not-clear-pictures and miniature players, but i shall not complain. be grateful i get to witness this match and have a functioning camera to capture the moments
*i not happy with 3 things :
a)a guy got nani's jersey! dang!
b)i dont understand why they dont allow bottled drinks in. so lame. you know why im not happy? because i saw some people with canned tiger beer! shiet! a can can do more harm than plastic bottles! i think the organisers must have kept their brains where the sun never shines!
c)people smoking. urgh. i hate this. they should ban smoking in stadiums!

No.39 - Today I.....

went jungle trekking + hiking with mum and few Hash members. there are 7 of us, of course im the youngest! my 1st time too. agreed to follow mum because she said will be able to witness huge trees, where need 8people to join hands to circle the tree trunk. so we were supposed to sart at 9 but only started at 10. i could only remember the name of 3 of them : uncle 'blind bat', aunty 'suki' and bro calvin. overall quite tiring, due to the weather also and mum forgotten to ask me cut toe nails, so when coming down time the nails poke the front part of shoe, so painful! and i managed to throw away 5leeches from my shoes, excluding the ones that sucked my blood, 3 of them, so altogether 8 leeches came after me!

the start of our journey, im the most back

some trees there

when you feel there's no hope in life, somehow somewhere there's a path with light to guide you out of despair, just believe

No.38 - Today I.....

did my medical checkup at columbia hospital. very nice place, good service, worth my rm25. nothing much done, just a few : opening mouth, checking ears, taking blood pressure, checking eyesight and taking x-ray. need not take blood test becauce blood group known through blood donation. the doctor asked what am i going to study and i answered medicine. he asked whether its my passion or parents force. haha, what a question! before entering the hospital, i was questioned whether i was in contact with any H1N1 patient.

on the left is the appointment card and my medical card. im so surprised. the picture there is from my IC, i wonder how they manage to copy to the card in just less than 5minutes! on the right is a pen and a fridge magnet given by them for free! very cute magnet! its on my fridge now

helped a friend to buy new handphone. this is by CSL, model i-100. it was launched to commemorate our prime minister 100th day of service. very basic function, coloured screen, but..no games! costs only rm78. so anyone interested, can ask me. i can help you to buy. no extra charges unless you want me to courier to you! had a very nice time chit-chat with the salesgirl, she thought im a phone dealer. and out of a sudden she was dreaming and looked sad. she ended up telling me she's sad, her mum fall sick because high blood. i was like...shocked. she just got to know me like less than 5minutes and she's telling me this? i wonder what she sees in me. extra-friendly? hope so~!
very nice, slim and light
