MY FIRST TIME WATCHING FOOTBALL LIVE IN STADIUM
date : 18.07.2009 (saturday)
venue : stadium bukit jalil, kuala lumpur
took a 11am bus to kl. reached pudu 3plus, took lrt. the lrt was packed with red humans. ya, most of the passengers were ManUtd supporters. met with a family (mum, a daughter, 2sons) in lrt. so as soon as i reached stadium, i asked them can i tag along since im alone. the mum said ok. she was surprised i came all the way from taiping and all by myself. she said what a great fan i am. but we had to part ways because we got different entrance gate. they violet gate, i red gate. so i was walking all the way to red gate. got there, got into the queue then got checked by security guard. was asked to dispose all the bottles i had in bag! damn! stupid! but i was smart enough to hide one small bottle in my jacket. lucky for my brains, if not i would have die dehydrated.
so got in, looked for the seat. the rm58 part was packed, so i saw people climbing over railing to get seats. so i climbed too. after sitting awhile, i realised i was at a higher price seat - rm68. haha! was so scared that il be kicked out of the stadium if they find out. had quite a good seat, full view of the field, though players looked like termites.
was a good match. rooney opened the scoring, followed by nani. then right before half-time, amri yahya scored, a volley. the whole stadium roared! i got up from my seat too, so did all those nearby me! i think sir fergie decided to substitute van der sar after that shocking goal. yet, the replacement, ben foster did a blunder, allowing amri to score again. he sped past foster and tugged the ball into the goal. and again, all of us got up from our seats!! right after that, fergie brought owen in. the whole stadium had been waiting for his appearance. its indeed sweet as its owen's debut, whatmore in our country's stadium! owen impressed his manager and fergie did the right move when owen scored the winning goal! yeah! and again....yes, we got up from our seats! so thats the match.
got out from the stadium at 8pm, went to lrt station. tonnes of people! everyone pushing here and there! i felt like a sardine! could feel myself being squashed! reached pudu at 9.30pm, just in time to hop in the 9.30pm bus. lucky its not full. if not i had to wait for 10.30pm bus. reached home, washed up and headed for bed. got to get up before 8am the next day for church.

me signing off from the theater of dreams of malaysia, certainly. not the one at old trafford. i hope one day il be there!
not-clear-pictures and miniature players, but i shall not complain. be grateful i get to witness this match and have a functioning camera to capture the moments
*i not happy with 3 things :
a)a guy got nani's jersey! dang!
b)i dont understand why they dont allow bottled drinks in. so lame. you know why im not happy? because i saw some people with canned tiger beer! shiet! a can can do more harm than plastic bottles! i think the organisers must have kept their brains where the sun never shines!
c)people smoking. urgh. i hate this. they should ban smoking in stadiums!
